This is a polytechnic Chowk or traffic junction in Ambala City. The visible information is: 1. Display Hoardings and banners in large nos. around the junction along the boundary wall of campus. 2. Parking of rickshaws along the junction on one side. 3.Traffic lights 4.Vehicles on roads like trucks, buses, cycle, scooters, cars, tempo, rickshaw etc. 5.Sheds of some moving rehri or temporary vehicle for fruit seller etc ia also visible along the boundary wall of campus. 6.Trees and vegetation inside the campus and even outside. 7. small park or green space at the junction where students are seen sitting. THE INVISIBLE INFORMATION 1.Since the traffic is heterogeneous may lead to accidents. 2.Need to have proper places for display hoardings and parking of rickshaws. 3.Use of rickshaw and tempo as public transport is more. 3.The area is generally low density urban area. This above invisible information like accident prone area will help the authority to immediately take suitable measures to reduce the traffic either by creating byepass for heavy vehicles entering the city or by widening the junction etc. Requirement of more efficient public transport etc can be worked out.
