The picture attached is taken from the central hub / Down Town area of Dubai in United Arab Emirates in the early morning time. It consists of The tallest building in the world "Burj Khalifa" with 830 m height, as well as Dubai mall as this picture was taken from one of the restaurant's terrace of the mall. The view shows an out door area in the middle with a big artificial organic shaped lake that performs water dancing shows every 30 minutes, high rise buildings functioning as: office building, residential, hotels, hotels apartment & Dubai opera house that is still under the last phase of construction. As we can see and referring to my description and visible information i mentioned above, this urban area serves the city in all type of activities whether in the professional and business sector (as most of the new and big companies are opening in the towers in this area or in "Dubai financial centre" which is 3-5 minutes away from the mall, and it serves the city in the tourism and social form due to the vast amount of hotels, hotel apartments and residential buildings. Having the biggiest mall in the country: Dubai mall, plays an important part as well in which it accompanies all shops and brands you could ever imagine. Additionally, most of the social and cultural activities are held overthere. We can conclude how much this area is witnessing a vast amount of people all time of the day for various needs and activities. Thus, could be confirmed as a central urban area. invisible information of Dubai downtown / Dubai mall area: 1) SRI of outdoor area materials/ Outdoor paving. 2) wind study for the out door area created fenced by variant building forms and heights specially with the existence of the big lake. As both above information could help in the sever harsh weather of UAE. The invisible information of the wind study to assure weather satisfaction for the visitors and maintain all type of activities through all seasons of the year specially in the summer time where all activities are avoided or decreased as Temperature could reach 45 degrees celsius. A detailed and careful study of the wind data could derive various solutions to get this urban area into a better urban level in sever summer time and increase the liveability standards.
