My top-5 criteria that I think contribute the most to a city's livability. I have ordered them with the most important at the top of your list. 1. Safety 2. Sanitation Standards 3. Health Care 4. Infrastructure 5. Education I live on in Enschede, Netherlands on the University of Twente campus. Why?: 1. Proximity to University 2. Possibility for house sharing 3. Safety on campus 4. Proximity to recreational activities taking place on campus 5. Green environment of campus I rate my place of residence at 75% on a scale from 1-100 rate to what extent my place of residence fulfills my ideal livability criteria. I would also rate my town 75%. The first issue I would tackle as mayor of my area/university president would be to solve the issue of sanitation of campus. This does not refer to sanitation within facilities, however, more as the sanitation of the outdoor environment on campus. It is so green but students litter everywhere, which is disappointing considering the environment we are initially given. In case I decided to change a place of residence, these are 3 places I would consider and their 5 qualities. Vancouver, Canada 1. Education 2. Environment 3. Recreation possibilities 4. Culture 5. Job opportunities Geneva, Switzerland 1. Safety 2. Environment 3. Recreation possibilities 4. Culture 5. Job opportunities Victoria, Canada 1. Safety 2. Culture 3. Environment 4. Recreational possibilities 5. Sanitation standards
