The most important imports to Saudi Arabia are machinery goods, food, and motorcycles. In Saudi Arabia, and more specifically in Jeddah, people seem to be driven by the amount of tech they own, how many food branches they have tried, and how many motorcycles their sons have/drive. At every corner, a bakery opens, challenging the one next to it. Regularly on Fridays, you see groups of motorcycles roaming around the seaside, showing off their brands and owners. These imports, in my opinion, will take the city of Jeddah to a new level, a level in which the Saudi cuisine will be upgraded from one side, and where the planning of the city will change, to provide special lanes for motorcycles. These changes are good and beneficial, as the Jeddah cuisine is limited somehow, and the planning of the city streets need to be rethought of.
