Quality of water and electricity as major essential elements of infrastructure. A city with constant electricity blackouts and and polluted water isn't livable under any circumstances. iii. Easy traffic mobility. Wasting time is something that has effects on the individual more than wasting time. It increases and raises stress level and therefore reduces the productivity level. iv. The heat level is one thing, that when it surpasses its limit it may take one of comfort zone which could be a real catastrophe to all people around. 3. My city Alexandria suffers from few of these points: i. Air Quality. I don't think that the level of pollution in Alexandria is high but sooner or later with the increase of cars we may have to move to electric vehicles. ii. Quality of water and electricity. Alexandria does't suffer from constant electricity blackouts but as a fast growing city the quality of water must be improved by extracting groundwater using solar energy. iii. Easy traffic mobility. The traffic is Alexandria is getting too dense. New alternative routes must be built smartly with sensing and crowdsourcing. iv. Noise level. Some places in Alexandria are pretty quite. I don't think it's a major issue. v. Heat level. Alexandria is on the sea, we don't suffer from heat. Although there are a lot of air conditioners, we might have to switch to sustainable buildings in order to eliminate using air conditioners as mush as possible.
