Module 3 - compulsory Exercise: Livability Criteria discussion posted 2 minutes ago by LukeAFlanagan a. Political Stability b. Sanitation Standards. c. Infrastructure d. Culture e. Economy Why do we live where we live? i live in london for a number of reasons, some on my top 5 list and some not. The criteria i have listed above are not necessarily the reasons that i live where i live, or the things that i value in an everyday sense but i believe that they are a good foundation for a liveable city. International connectivity is a key reason that i live in london, followed by job opportunities, culture, transportation, environment. London does not necessarily full-fill all of my livability criteria as listed in question 1, as it is currently somewhat politically unstable due to brexit, has a fairly high cost of living, is not necessarily an environmentally friendly city as air pollution is very high, but it does full-fill the remaining criteria, and has the qualities that I've listed in question 2. score - 75/100 i would change londons housing policy in order to make it more affordable, its environmental, waste management, and emissions policy in order to make it a cleaner city to live in, and invest further in the public spaces and streets of the city in order to make it a more pedestrian friendly and less privatised. i lived in Melbourne prior to london, which was an incredibly liveable city which invested heavily in infrastructure and public amenities, if i move back it will be for the following reasons- Melbourne- 1. political stability 2. employment and work-life balance 3. culture. 4. housing (and affordability) 5. education i moved to london for the following reasons: 1. international connectivity 2. job opportunities 3. culture 4. transportation 5. infrastructure if i move again i may be to Oslo, Norway for the following reasons: 1. international connectivity 2. culture 3. infrastructure 4. job opportunities 5. economy
