The photo shows what a typical provincial city in the Philippines is. Motorcycles make up most of the transportation vehicle, modified motorcycles that includes seating for a group of people are the most popular means of commute. Electrical and Telephones lines scales the city streets on wooden/concrete post, swaying just inches from the nearing building facade. Condensing units for air conditioning were retrofitted to the facade of most of the old buildings. The street is also lined with small scale commercial establishments from general merchandise stores, to Pawnshops, to Lotto outlets, and fast food as can be reflected by the various sizes of sign boards. The Building designs are so eclectic that they do not cohere to a certain design style of era/time, creating a chaotic street view, but reflects a unique sense on individuality. As seen in the Picture, the two invisible data i think would be the most popular mode of commute and the diversified business type within the area. By gathering data from the diversified businesses and creating a census with regards to the type of business, the services/goods they offer, the scale or range of their demographics and materials they need to operate, we can create a better solution to create zones and arrange the business in ways that could improve their services, minimize their consumption of energy and goods, and help them better cater to their demographics.
