Now I am living in Canada and, I was very glad about my choice. In the city I live, all projects with a significant impact to the city or , rezoning is submitted to a public audition. All meetings are disclosed on the government website and scheduled at night so; I presume; more people can go. it is a small town I am not sure that in a big city all projects could be evaluated but, I think that those with higher impact should be discussed with the community.
