Uploaded on 2016-07-12 by Prisca Arosio
This picture shows the transportation system of the city of Amsterdam. There are bikes, boats and big sidewalks. In the front of the picture there are 6 bikes, and more parked on the other side of the canal. Even though we are in the city center there are no car visible. These data give us the invisible information that the movement inside of the city is mostly by bike, shooter, walking and public transportation. Another data is the boat stop, with the map of the city. This data contains the invisible information that it is a touristic place. One more visible information is the presence of boats. These boats are living space and they don’t move in the canals. The invisible information here is the high density population of the city of Amsterdam and the shortage of living space so people live in the boats.
