1. Ecosystem services in my living area: Provisioning services: Many provisional services are available in our city e.g food, water, raw materials etc. The tree/vegetation sources for these services are found mainly on the edges of the city. b. Regulating services: Regulating services like Carbon sequestration and storage, Pollination and Biological control are provided by the vegetation in our city. c. Habitat or Supporting services: The existing trees and vegetation provides supporting services such as Habitats for species and Maintenance of genetic diversity. d. Cultural services: The existing trees and vegetation provide the Aesthetic appreciation and inspiration for culture, art and design and Recreation and mental and physical health for the habitants of the city.
