This picture taken from the top of the UFO bridge on a recent visit to Bratislava shows the increasing urban sprawl of the city. The use of electricity is evident in the photograph from the many cars and buildings all requiring electricity to function. The tower on the bridge itself has an elevator which carries people to the top where there is a restaurant. We can also see in the distance a communication tower and the more recent tall buildings to the right where the new part of the city is still growing today increasing the need to generate and consume yet more energy. At night the bridge and some of the more historical buildings in the photo are lit up to show off the architecture.
