Uploaded on 2017-03-18
1. Upload a photo from your area, or the closest urban area, (the photo must be taken by you) and comment all the information that is visible in this photo. -Trees, straws -Buildings, House fronts, windows -large Building in the background 2. Identify and present two "invisible information" that can be extracted out of the visible information of this photo. -Architecture style / century (not obvious to anyone uneducated in this) -Approx. number of people living in these houses -Activity in this neighborhood (low; no one looking out of the window or being seen behind the windows) -Approx distance to large building in background 3. Select one of your choices from the previous question and describe how this invisible information can become knowledge and contribute to the planning of a more livable urban space. The style, architecture and century of these buildings can be used to determine e.g. how much noise would be acceptable, how long these buildings need until they have to be renovated etc.B
