1. Oil and coal products are the dominant fuels used in India. 2. According to sankey diagram the dominant energy usage is for Industry. 3. To improve on this I would first push for a policy of moving us to an electric fleet. This would be and incremental process but could lessen the amount of energy used by fossil fuels. For this to work we would also need to generate power more efficiently with renewable resources. So the country would need to invest in cleaner infrastructure such as wind and solar power generation.
