a. Provisioning services - Food Serui is a city located in the beach of Yapen Island in Papua, Indonesia. The island is surrounded by seas, thus making fish as our main food source. b. Regulating services - Erosion prevention Hills is surrounding Serui, making usable land area pretty small. Thus, creating house right at the side of the hill is invevitable. Fortunately, vegetation is still abundance here, lowering the risk of erosion. c. Habitat or Supporting services - Habitat Serui is a remote city, even in the center of the city still have a lot of green spaces that haven’t occupied by the citizen. The picture I took is right in front of my office, it still have an old tree that support a lot of bird habitat, under the tree, vegetation still preserved to support a lot of species, even pigs still lives there. d. Cultural services - Tourism Yapen Island have a unique layout that are attractive to tourism, unfortunately, access to this island is still hard, there are only two airlines available with everyday only two high-priced-small-plane flight available in and out of Serui. The picture I took is the picture of my boss from Jayapura, that surveying local tourism objects, in this case, it’s Mainggap Beach, Serui Laut.
