The dominant fossil fuel in Indonesia is Coal, but almost all of it are exported, in fact, Indonesia in world’s number two exporter of Coal. The rest of the Coal can’t be used because it became power losses for the power stations. So the dominant fossil fuel that used in Indonesia is Gas. Half of it is exported, and half of it mainly used for the Industry. Indonesia is a country with abundance of land. I think it is very obvious that the solution for sustainable energy resource is to use solar panel whenever possible. So if I can make a new policy for the country, it is to force big companies to use solar panel or other sustainable energy as their main energy source, at least 50% of their energy source should be coming from these sustainable energy. Any companies can’t fulfill this policy will have to play bigger taxes.
