Transport, residential, mining It is your task to create a new policy in order to improve the environmental friendly and sustainable sources and consumption of energy of your country. How would you do that? I would create a policy that would make solar panels for public and residential projects a requirement for new construction. I would also implement strategies to reduce the energy demand, such as green roof, alternative energy resources, materials with high SRI value. I would also improve the quality of mas public transportation that would reduce the number of cars on the streets and would encourage more people to use bikes, fuel efficient cars and buses. I would also designate pathways and special lanes for bicycles. I would also implement educational programs for high school students, on the benefits of alternative energy sources from fossil fuels. I would implement design and planning competitions for local and nationwide for civic, residential and commercial projects that uses environmentally friendly materials and techniques of construction which would require low energy demand and consumption.
