1. This Photo shows the skyline of Dubai Marina. The picture shows many tall and modern buildings (skyscraper), obviously it is a very dense built and also populated area. The kind of buildings, skyscrapers constructed with a lot of glass and steel, show as well that in this part oft the city wealthy people live or spend time. There are many lights in the buildings at night time. 2. The first invisible Information that we can get out oft he visible information is that at night time a lot of people are staying in the Marina area inside the buildings which we can see by the lights. It is a highly frequented area oft the city not only for residence but also for nightlife. You will find a lot of restaurants and bars as well as hotels in the Marina. The second invisible information we could get is from the heavy traffic in this area. Traffic examinations would show that during the day there is a lot of car traffic going out oft he marina, people that travel from home to work and at night the other way round plus people coming for leisure into the Marina. 3. As the Marina is a very attractive and highly frequented area of town, the invisible information that we get from the traffic and travel behavior of the people could help to optimize the traffic, which is obviously a big problem in the Marina. Right now there is a tram and the metro, but still a lot of car traffic. The analysis oft he traffic could show us if there is further public transportation necessary and also which are the knots where to increase it and which times oft the day there hast to be more public transportation. Also it could help regarding to the private transportation and show in which areas traffic management could be optimized. Maybe Park and Ride could be a solution for leisure visitors or making the area accsessible by bicycle and provide more bicycle paths. The city of Dubai is definitely working a lot on invisible information (smart City) and improving thereby life for the inhabitants.
