This photo shows Hanoi (Vietnam). Closer to classical french constructions, traditional single-family houses structures built atop foundations of bamboo rammed into the ground, there are skyscrapers, as you can see at the bottom of photo. This is a clear example of the influence of globalization: most of materials used to build skyscrapers were probably manufactured overseas.
