The picture has been taken by me from an office on the last floor of Palazzo Marina in Rome, the headquarter of Italian Ministry of Defence, in a sunny day on November 2016, 11:30 am. The picture shows Matteotti Bridge on the Tiber river and, on background, the Prati neighborhood, a central area including St. Peter Square. Visible informations are: - sunny day, St. Peter's Dome on background - light/moderate vehicular traffic on the bridge - high density of trees/green area in the neighborhood - absence of public busses/trams on the roads or at the bus stop (yellow signals at the end of the bridge). - presence of street lamps (street lighting turned off in the day) - no boats on the river - tennis courts on the river shores, but no players - old buildings, mainly residential, and no tall buildings Invisible informations are: - Buildings occupancy. How many people are in the shown buldings. How many living and how many working there. - Cars mobility patterns. From where and where are they going. - Mass transport performance. The picture is taken at 11:30 am, not rush hour: no busses or trams appear in the pictures, and we cannot evaluate if the demand for public transport is satisfied - Street lighting and energy consumption. We can't say if there's LED street lamps, which light colour, etc.
