Groenplaats, Antwerp. As shown in the pic this square is definitelly well sited in the core of the historical city center. This give to the square a particular soul, making it a landmark for the inhabitants and tourists. What we can see is the extremely variety of people behaviour: some of them are using the square for relax sitting in the sunny ares, some others are strolling alone, others are talking in groups, some others have a shopping bag in their hands and so on. Two of invisible information could be: the age variety of the people using the square and the needs that bring them right in this square. Thinking about this last assumption knowing why and in which way the people use the square could help us to organize it better. For example if the square is view as a kind of “entrance” to the city center, or a key point for gathering or again such as a good place where to shop around. In this way we could also know how do they achieved the square and organize ( for example ) the mostly eco-friendly paths to arrive there from different part of the city.
