1.Τhe dominant fossil fuel used in Greece is oil, with a large difference from the second source of fuel. 2.The dominant fossil fuel, oil, is mainly used for transport, with residential needs coming as a close second. 3.The first problem with energy consumption in Greece is that the dominant fossil fuel is imported oil, which is disheartening considering the country’s potential capabilities of producing energy from renewable sources. Therefore, the first step would be to change this. In addition, I would promote renewed alternative transportation units that reduce their energy consumption and create informational campaigns to raise awareness in the general public on residential energy consumption.
