In the picture we can see a wooden house placed in Denia, a Mediterranean coastal town. This represents the impact of the globalised economy in building construction, because the wood as building material is rarely used in this area. This is not the best solution because there aren't much wood production in this area and it doesn't work really well with the high humidity. That's why the tradicional construction systems of this area avoided wood as construction material.
