As the population and the city grows, so do its boundaries, taking in more parts of the hinterland. In the territorial scale, in order to achieve this connection, transportation plays a crucial role. This requires not only mobility for private vehicles, but also future planning to cater to a large population dependent on public transportation. At the crossroads of the city meeting the territory, fast, abundant and sustainable means of transportation is necessary. The photograph shows this demand being met by vertical layers of transportation, such as arterial roads, flyovers and MRTS under construction.
