FC-01x Future Cities (Self-Paced) - Exercise 2: "Stocks and Flows"
Uploaded on 2016-07-04 by Ben Wargo
In this town, the 3 most important stocks and flows are water, food, and people. The water is consistently stored in a water storage tank as the rain water falls. People drink the waters, then dispose of the water into the sewer system through human waste. People also get transported into and out of the community through car and bus. If the community were to improve the water storage tank, there could be a more abundant supply of water in the community, and there would not have to be as much preocupation with the excessive use of the water in the community. This would relieve much anxiety for the people. If the infrastructure leading up to the community were to be improved this would improve the ease at which people could come and go from the community and perhaps improve the economy in this area.
