I propose the photo of King's Cross station. I consider this a perfect example of the interaction of these structures within the urban system. At the historic station, due to new technologies and needs, it has been added below the underground with related structures while the surface station has been modernized both from the point of view of present services (restaurants, etc.) but also from the aesthetic point of view and architectural just because the same infrastructure become an integral part of the town so the people who use it and perceives their presence even without its own use: the station has also lived and visited only by those who want to visit shops or stop to drink or eat something . A different impact may have elements such as hospitals or dams, but for example the latter may turn into a "tourist" items as well as the aesthetics of a hospital and the organization of transport around it, can still go to positively influence an entire area.
