The 5 reasons why I live here is 1) My university is located in Bangkok, which is educational hub of Thailand. 2) I am originally from Myanmar. Myanmar and Thai culture is nearly the same. So, I don’t have any culture shock in Bangkok. 3) Environment of Bangkok is really enjoyable. It has a lot recreational places like theme park, shopping mall, Green Park, and also nearer to Pattaya Beach. 4) Bangkok is the best choice for job opportunities. It has a lot of international companies. 5) The living expense is not much comparing with other business cities like Singapore. 3. Ideal Livability Criteria 1) Culture 95 2) Safety 85 3) Environment 92 4) Transportation 90 5) Job opportunities 90 General livability score 90 4. If I am the mayor of Bangkok, I would like to improve the safety of Bangkok. Bangkok is the tourism hub of Thailand. A lot of tourists come to Thailand. Some feel unsafe at Bangkok and some Thai people would like to take advantage to tourists. Because of language barrier, tourist can easily fall into the trap of Thai people. For example, taxi drivers request double price for tourists, and retail shops also raise their price for tourists. Bangkok is not safe for people at night too. If the safety becomes trustworthy in Bangkok, livability of Bangkok will also improve. 5. I would select Sydney, Munich, Seoul in case I decided to change a place of residence. 5 qualities of these places are 1) Rich culture 2) Low crime rate 3) Green environment 4) Good job opportunities 5) High educational standard
