We can see in this photo Sao Paulo's old downtown, it has historical buildings and a monument. In the bottom, there are other buildings that are not historical buildings that seems abandoned, empty and not preserved. The area has a good visual communication, there are street name plates, information boards showing the historic places nearby, free wi-fi area indication and pedestrian crosswalk sign. There are people walking and a group of young people using the space to skating. As we can see by the electric cables there are public transportation serving the area. We can say by this photograph that 1- there are problems with empty buildings located in central area. We can say is a waste of money, infrastructure and space. 2- there are lack of lazer area for population in downtown of the city. To transform the information in knowledge is necessary to connect more data and information, for example in the information "there are buildings in downtown that sub utilized" we can do a research to collect more information and data such as where these buildings are located, who they belong to, if they are particular or public buildings, why they are not utilized properly, if there is any legal cause to that. Maybe it can be necessary to change the city regulations or the use specified for that area, maybe the law is not responding according to people's demand or it can be caused for other factor, learning what is the problem and why it happens is the first step to work in the best solution, after that we can use this knowledge in order to prevent or solute this problem in the future.
