Top 5 most liveable cities: 1- Amsterdam, Netherlands. 2- Lucerne, Switzerland. 3- Vancouver, Canada. 4- Paris, France. 5- Auckland, New Zealand. 5 Characteristics that make a city liveable: 1- Cooler temperature. 2- Lower noise. 3- Sustainablility. 4- Environment. 5- Cleanliness. Status of my own city: My city, Johannesburg, South Africa, definitely needs to improve on quite a few aspects. While the city is quite warm, I would say it is cooler than other cities i have been in, but could still be improved. The city is extremely loud and is definitely not sustainable. The environment is not to great either, due to lack of maintenance and it is in no way clean either. Quite a few changes would need to be made in order for it to be seen as a "liveable future city".
