the Picture identify a car parking in a normal street of one of the districts in Vienna. However, it must be know that these car parks are not free and a parking fee has to be paid. Nowadays, the parking fees are payable via a "App" which you can download on your smart phone. Once you have the "App" you can pay directly your parking fee and the duration because it has your car plat number. the invisible information here is very much valuable, because: 1. the municipality (which is managing the parking fees and the App) can see in this street how many cars are parked (live situation and more long term situation) 2. the type of cars and hence the type of users 3. the time of car immobilization these can allow a number of data analysis. by calculating a normal range of distance covered by pedestrian you can also estimate (once you have the urban setting of the area) where these pedestrian most probably are going (embassies, shops, offices etc).
