I - Way to the shop - 1,5km Mode of transportation: 1. by car: approx. 7 minutes by car (from underground parking in my housing estate to underground parking in shoppin center) - usual choice 2. by bus: 3 minutes - going to the bus stop, 8 minutes in the bus, 4 minutes - way to the shop total: 15 minutes 3. by foot: 15 minutes 4. by bike: approx. 7 minutes This is a perfect distance to go by foot or by bike. I go there to meke big shopping, so going by feet is a bit uncomfortable when I need to carry heavy bags while way back home. Bike is perfect for a good weather. Right now, in winter time I take advantage of having a car and uderground parking in the supermarket - it reduces to minimum carrying shopping bags. II - Way to the office - 7,5km 1. by car: 15 minutes + ~10 minutes looking for parking space + ~3 minutes from car to the office total: ~up to 28 minutes - my usual choice 2. by bus: 3 minutes - way to the bus stop, 18 minutes in the bus, 3 minutes -way to the office total: 24 minutes importat: bus goes every 15-20 minutes, so the way back may be extended to 45 minutes no bike paths on this way. I need to be in this office one or twice a month to get something done in a few minutes. I choose car, becouse waiting for the bus take longer than solving my issue. What is mmore, this is extremely unpleasant office area,wide streets, a lot of traffic, very poor footways, I do not like spending there any times, even 1 minute is too long. III - way to the meeting space - 13,5km 1. by car: 33 minutes + looking for parking space - up to 15 minutes + up to 10 minutes way to the meeting point from the car Total: up to 60 minutes 2. by bus: 3 minutes way to the bus stop + 34 minutes in the bus + 6 minutes from the bus to the meeting place Total: 43 minutes 3. by metro: 7 minutes to the metro station + 22 minutes in the metro + 12 minutes by foot to the meeting place Total: 42 minutes - my usual choice 4. by bike: 55 minutes I usually choose way by metro becouse I have 22 minutes to read a book and then 12 minutes way through the park - nice sourroundings.
