This picture is from Lichtenberg a neighbourhood in the east of the Berlin. It is close to a main train station, but it is very quiet and usually there is a lot of people walking around to get into the station. Pedestrians need to walk a relative long distance to cross the avenue, because this has a wide curve and drivers do not have good visibility and they go very fast.
