The involvement of globalized economy in construction of the shown building is quite significant as it is a small high-rise. The building materials that were imported from other countries to the site are prefabricated concrete elements and electric wires as it is simply cheaper to do so. I did not manage to find the exact source of those materials, but according to the report published on the UK's Gov website called : Building materials and components statistics: April 2015 from the Department for Business, Innovation & Skills, they are wery likely to have been imported outside of the EU. On the pictures there are also building machines , that were not produced in the UK, they are also an important part of erecting the building.
