a. Provisioning services Allotment gardens are popular in Poland. A lot of people, the owners of gardens, can grow there their own vegetables within the city borders. So they are a source of food which do not demand transportation. However, allotment gardens are totally private in Poland so they are not a public spaces. They are always fenced and no one can enter them without the key. Another problem with allotment gardens are so-called "altanas". Every owner can build on their plot a little altana. In fact, these buildings are little houses, sometimes rented to students as cheap alternatives to normal flats. These little houses (sometimes 2 storeys high) are not only illegal, but also there are heated by fireplaces powered by anything that can be burned. b. Regulating services Row of trees along the street - they provide shadow, regulate temperature and humidity, absorbe some of CO2. c. Habitat or Supporting services Eastern Vistula riverside - is under protection of Natura2000 region. Is a habitat to many species, that can live within city borders. d. Cultural services Królikarnia park - is a park around hounting palace called Królikarnia. Now there is a sculpture museum. Some of the sculptures are exhibited in park. In summer it is also popular place to spend time in Warsaw.
