1. Housing, Infrastructure, Economy, Safety, Transportation 2. I live in Irvine, California because of: the UC Irvine educational community, climate, the progressive culture in California, proximity to family, and recreational possibilities. 3. I rated Irvine 50/100 on my own criteria. While it is incredibly safe and has excellent infrastructure, it has a severe lack of affordable housing opportunities and poor public transportation infrastructure. I ranked it 55/100 in general. 4. My first measure as mayor of Irvine would be to construct a variety of affordable housing options. 5. I would move to the following places: 1. San Diego, CA (proximity to family, climate, recreational activities, culture, and urban aesthetics), 2. Costa Mesa, CA (proximity to employment, recreational activities, housing, culture, and climate), or 3. Santa Ana, CA (proximity to employment, culture, proximity to opportunities for social and political engagement, recreational activities, and transportation).
