This photo is taken in Sector-20, Panchkula, a satellite town of Chandigarh. The photo clearly shows that the availability of infrastructure like electrical substation, good roads, health and education facilities etc. is responsible for the growth and development of this high density residential sector in the last few years. Over the years more and more high-rise residential towers have come up in the vicinity as people prefer to reside in an area that has all facilities in close proximity to their place of stay. This has also tremendously impacted the urban form of the town which has transformed from a low rise medium density area (if one looks at the former sectors) to a medium/high rise high density area (Sector 20 and other areas that have developed lately) bustling with people, material, stocks etc.
