The Photo was taken by me from Gurgaon Metro station and shows the glimpse of the city main market place. The Malls are the dominant structure of this are and also the IT center. The electricity is a main factor for the metro and city development and there is immense lack of supply here. The electricity cut off in the area is about 8 hrs daily and hence dependent on alternative electricity supply like generators and inverters. The Water is another major factor which is in short supply at this newly developed city next to Capital Delhi. The city was developed rapidly with the idea to connect Delhi through metro lines and investors targeted to establish numerous malls but the development body disregarded the infrastructure like roads, drains, electricity lines, and planning. There has been immense pollution from automobile exhausts and also dust due to improper roads and has been posing health threats and also the pot holes and lack of pavements leading to accidents. The future of the city relies on re establishing the city with proper understanding of current scenario with future simulation. This city has rapidly developed in last 10 years and is still growing rapidly. The city planners and architects need to come with a sound future plan of the city for it to thrive to be a healthy, smart and intelligent city.
