1.What are the dominant fossil fuels used in your country? not only are Oil and natural gas the dominant fossil fuels used in Iran, but also they are technically the two main sources of energy. 2.Where are the dominant fossil fuels mainly used for in your country? They are used for the other sector by which I think the diagram means household demands,etc. The next most demanding sector is transportation. 3.It is your task to create a new policy in order to improve the environmental friendly and sustainable sources and consumption of energy of your country. How would you do that? The first critical policy I think is taking action to increase the share of clean energy supplies such as electricity in transportation sector,which leads to less CO2 emmision and less nonrenewable fossil fuel consumption. The next step to be taken is the development of renewable energy usage, like solar power, which is highly feasible regarding the country’s climate and its great average number of bright sunny days and vast sunny areas. But there’s one item which is more important than the first two ones; education and environmental awareness; our society needs to better understand the issue, and to believe the environmental and energy crisis we’re going to go through by less than 50 years. We, as a community, need to be more environmentally responsible.
