FC-01x Future Cities (Self-Paced) - Exercise 1 : "Making the Invisible - Visible"

Visible information: - City landmark - Location of roads for vehicles - Types of transportation present (public & private) - Pedestrian access - Paved space vs. Green space - Outdoor space vs. Indoor space Invisible information: 1. Amount of people using public transport to get to the area 2. Which spaces do people go to when visiting the area - Using this information, we can further investigate the different reasons that attract people to visit the area (e.g. work, socialising, sightseeing, home), why it is attractive and what they dislike about it. This investigation is important because when creating knowledge, it is important to take note of subjective as well as objective information. After analysing the results, we can use this knowledge to brainstorm the different ways in which we can improve the qualms that people have about the area in order to improve its urban space and comfort. For example, if the area lacks green space, we can propose for the area to provide parks that are accessible to visitors of the area.
