1) Location: Bogota, Colombia The picture was taken in one important street in the city of Bogota called “Carrera 15”. It is a busy road and it has in many parts terrible traffic problems. In the picture I identified the following visible information: Pedestrians in the area Vehicles that transit in the area Types of vehicles that transite in the zone Number of buildings in the area Pedestrian infrastructure area in the zone Vehicles Vehicle infrastructure area in the zone Green area in the zone 2) From the visible information of vehicles that transit the following invisible information could be derived: Traffic patterns during the day Average speed of roads in the city 3) From the average speed of roads we can learn many things. First, we could identify the slower roads and try to improve them. Also we could identify the most important roads that are having the biggest problems and then try to fix them to have a greater impact in mobility. Also the slower roads could be treated as experiments and we could try different things to see which is the best measure or group of measures to implement.
