Queretaro Mexico- Alex Huesca This image is from Queretaro in Mexico, since a few years ago Queretaro is growing it is very close to Mexico city but is completely different in climate, Queretaro has a very warm weather and is dry, Mexico city is almost the opposite, many companies have moved here, life is more calm and is full of good services, there are many suburbs which have houses like this one, giving to architectural firms a lot of work, as I mentioned it is very hot the sun burns and it’s dry, people don't walk too much they prefer to use the car, the sidewalk is almost inexistent and green areas are still in the growing process, in general is a very clean town. Many people is moving every day to live here, there are a lot of opportunities to work, schools and livability is very good but a huge mistake they’re making is to create suburbs imitating the ones of the USA where sidewalks doesn’t exist and the priority is for the cars, it is important to create areas where people feel comfortable to interact and socialize with the neighbors, there are green areas but they are uncomfortable for people because of the hot and the sun, instead people prefer to go to closed areas like shopping malls like Antea which is an open shopping mall very confortable but at the same time is a big space where close social interaction is not possible for the nature of the building, the use of bicycles is very low but it can increase.
