In California, cooling and transportation used up more the most energy and oil and coal are still the main source of energy in the United States. By design smart buildings, it can reduce the HVAC and the transportation energy dependency. In 2016, the new basketball arena "Golden 1" for Sacramento Kings opened in downtown Sacramento, without any parking. Most of spectators took the light rail in from the suburb, and many people in downtown work till 7 and then walk to King's game at 730 pm while keep their cars in the work place. The Golden 1 arena also can open up the entry level in every direction to allow delta air blow in quickly and energy efficient.
