Hi everybody, Here Lima is pretty much a turistic place for visitors, so it's no surprise, that in spite of its ups and downs, it accomplishes a diverse range of services, which I will classify into these categories: a. Provisioning services, Lima has tons of fields that are used for agriculture, mainly in the fuzzy borders with is hiinterlands. However, these areas are being reduced since we are living the climax of construction. To compensate this, there are being designed and constructed, some buildings where you can practice urban farming. b. Regulating services, again, more designs and constructions are being achieved considering our need for better urban climate. Green buildings are increasing, and also it is being improved the use of materials that favor recycling. All of this, however, is being developed mainly in the richer districts, and some more in the city hinterlands. c. Habitat or Supporting services, in spite of recent events, Lima has always been home for several species, mainly birds. Plants are also being grown in the hinterlands, where cities are design and constructed at a faster pace. d. Cultural services, there are tons of spaces which favor cultural services. Lima has a lot, in all of its districts, there is no way you could be bored. Museums, parks, malls, historical buildings, theathers, spaces for doing sports such as surfing and so on.
