This is a an exciting chapter , I will try to answer knowing that in a city like BJ it is hard to look at the answer from a western prospective a. Provisioning services where i live , there is a park , trees in every streets , a heavy work is done to give space to green spaces , but no necessary in a ecosystem logic since nothing is produced locally. b. Regulating services the city is financing heavy on trees to absorb CO2 but the results are mixed since pm2.5 levels are heavy. The water supply has been always an issue , the quality of the water is bellow standards, the underground reserves are polluted , same as soil. Pest wise it is well controlled , the city has few issues with it. c. Habitat or Supporting services There is no project at this level, the local population is not concerned yet by creating a specific habitat for species, and try to integrate them to the city. d. Cultural services many cultural services are close by, this is the best about bj , its urban design and solutions always include the culture aspect of the society.
