1. Which are your top livability criteria? For me criteria that influence city’s livability in the most significant way are: 1) Environment. 2) Economy. 3) Job opportunities. 4) Education. 5)Transportation. 2. Why do we live where we live? Today I’m the resident of Moscow, Russia. 5 reasons to live in Moscow: 1) Education. 2) Well-paid jobs. 3) Diverse cultural life and events. 4) Variety of architecture and types of environment. 5) Transportation. 3. To what extend does your own place of residence fulfill your ideal livability criteria? Environment - 30 Economy - 40 Job opportunities - 100 Education - 90 Transportation - 70 General: 66 4. What would you change? Recently many measures have been undertaken to improve livability of Moscow and to bring it closer to the European standards. Those measures include: reconstruction of streets, optimization of public transportation, introduction of paid parking in the city centre, smart technologies in public services. Still ecology remains an important issue, as well as citizen participation in decision-making processes. These two aspects are significant for city’s further progress in improving livability. 5. Why do we move? If I had a chance to choose another place to live, I would definitely consider one of these options: New York (culture, public rights, travelling possibilities, quality and variety of services, job opportunities) Barcelona (climate, quality of built environment, transportation, education, events) London (British culture and history, cultural events, quality of education, travelling possibilities)
