(picture is not taken by me) On this picture you can see aerial view of Poznan by night. It shows how city is dependent on the electricity infrastrucute. Poznan has a lot of "sleeping residential distrcits" but despite that city is living 24 hours without a brake. Any major accident that would cause long-drawn blackout would be catastrophic for whole agglomeration. Most important and sensitive buildings as hospitals, airports and watter suplly system would work on emergency mode for a few days but without eletricity after few days whole place would be plunged into chaos.
