1. Which are your top livability criteria? Housing – Education – Health care –Transportation - Environment 2. Why do we live where we live? I’m living in Aracaju – Sergipe (Brazil). It’s a “small” city with more than half million people. It is localized in costal of northwest. Aracaju presents several features relation to tropics cities such as often “poor” mobility and infrastructure housing as well social segregation (richness and poorness living hand –to-hand). Aracaju’s views (photos: http://www.panoramio.com/photo/127451973 I’m living there because: (i) My place work where I’m doing research activities and universities, I want to be professor at University and to work on research project to achieve healthy environment (specially on climate) and education’s people; (ii) part of my “family” live there; (iii) I have a goal which is a development of the city; (iv) Excellent culture; (v) I would like to see a quality of life in city. 3. To what extend does your own place of residence fulfill your ideal livability criteria? Housing: 20/100; Education: 15/100; Health care: 20/100; Environment 30/100: Transportation: 20/100. Total livability score: ~ 25/100 4. What would you change? Well, If I were a mayor I would introduce some issues relation to general infrastructure of the city. First of all, I will attempt creating policies to reduction social segregation with good housing especially to poor people. I think that is very important to give a soft home to live. Certainly, these policies are into education and health system that assist to population. At the same time, I will implement a modern public transport. 5. Why do we move? I would move to Vancouver because the fantastic general infrastructure such as housing, transport, job and opportunities so on.
