I arrive directly by metro from Home to point Start. I can continue by metro by changing to a different line up to my Office. Changing will take a few minutes and the metro will take about 5 minutes (3 stations). Alternatively, I can take the bus or walk (I prefer the latter). I can take the bus from Start or point C. It's a single stop from Start to C and three stops from C to Office. It only takes 5 minutes by bus from Start to Office, but I have to wait for the bus for up to 10 minutes, so I found out it is not worthwhile since I prefer walking. From the various walking routes, the route via B is the (slightly) longest one and fairly dull because the segment B-Office follows the river bank that is uninteresting at this point. The other routes via only A or C and/or D are pretty interesting because of the many shops (mainly bookshops, cafes and restaurants) and cinemas that are on these streets. So normally I would walk via A only or via C only or via C and D (from 1.5 to 2 km). I will take the metro from Start to Office only if I am extremely in a hurry or if it is heavily raining. On the way back home, I always walk from Office to Start, to relax.
