Solar power as a primary source of energy is slowly beginning to enter the Saudi Arabian market. As this becomes more common, solar panels will begin to appear on rooftops, which are currently vacant or overrun by satellite dishes. Solar panels could also begin to appear along roads powering street lights or traffic lights or speed cameras. As such, this will clearly have an impact on the urban form and architecture of the city.
