[1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14327590679699941.jpg As we can see on the photo above, part of San Salvador's daily basis are the traffic, wiring hanging from poles on both sides and even between the streets, street illumination, publicity... so many things to visualise not to mention the aspects as noise from the cars engine, heat, the sun through the glass, smog, and the stress by being stock for several amounts of time in traffic. This image has been taken from one of the most transited avenues in the city, located at Colonia Escalon and which around 20 years ago use to be a luxurious and exclusive residential area, now is surrounded by banks, restaurants, stores, bars and the house, have been transformed to offices and vertical living buildings so the residential and exclusivity are just history. Such transformation has created this ambient. This is the result basically of the re-designation of the areas for the human actives, but those changes are not at all under control or based on a city plan, they just started happening. The streets are pretty much the same as 10 years ago and they have not been modify but the cars number has been double even triple and the capacity has been exceeded causing hugh traffic during the day and worse during the rush hours. The street illumination and wiring as well has increase, certainly the demand for energy and connectivity for the corporate offices, banks and so and so is significantly higher that a house. The list is quite long but basically, the city that I live in is the result of arbitrary changes that have caused several improments but a significant amount of deficiencies as well.
