Even though Berlin is well-covered with public transport, demand for higher coverage of inner-city areas is still high. This station is right in the middle of the city, showing that transport networks not only grow towards the outskirts, but are still in need of improvement in extisting centres as well. This despite the fact that building in such a densely used area is particularly challenging.
